Saturday - Mar 10 (Jason)

Didn't get home until 7:15pm last night, so I skipped the trainer. Good decision. Jogged the dog down to the park last night and had pretty good shin pain afterward. Made me a little worried for this morning's run. Fortunately, swimming comes before running...today, and in triathlon. So, I get to enjoy myself before the pain.

Felt okay for the workout. Left shoulder is bugging me, but that should go away if I can keep getting in the water regularly. Afterward, Steve and I got changed and went out for our run. The GPS watch was a little flaky today, so it only reported running 6.7 miles, but Splitr reports this as being 7.18 miles, which is probably a little more accurate.

Steve's running is fricking sweet. Mine? Not so much. I outweigh him by 45-50 pounds and it shows. My hips, knees, and calves were sore during the run, leading two bits of walking for a minute or so. Afterward, the only thing sore is my calves. Gotta work on my form. Just once, I'd like to feel like a run hurts my leg muscles instead of my skeletal system. C'est la vie.

Run: 7.18mph, Duration: 1:05-ish., Avg. HR = 157.
