Tuesday - March 27

Today I wanted to get back in the weight room, but decided tomorrow will work better since I have to go to a meeting in the evening and won't be able to workout. So I'll lift at lunch tomorrow. Yesterday I got on the trainer for 40 minutes without paying attention to much. Just wanted to spin out the legs and boy did I feel good. Maybe it's the shaved legs I don't know, but I can't wait to take that bike outside and race it.
Tonight I went for a run since it was in the low 60's. I didn't take a watch (battery is dead) and I just wanted to go out and stretch the legs since I didn't run since last Monday. No sense in over-doing it now.
The first two miles felt kind of rough with the breathing and all the sand in the road from the snow this past weekend, but by mile three I was trying to figure out how to stretch out the run for a little more distance but not so much I get injured so I managed to take on just over a mile and ended up with 5.93 miles in 45 minutes. Just nice and easy. I only picked up the pace over the last two miles because I was starting to feel like a champ then.
I stretched out a little and then did 30 minutes of the Hard Core Conditioning workout. Okay, it was actually 27 minutes before I stopped. Now it's time to eat!
