Week 1-Wednesday (from Matt)

Wednesday arrives, and the first H.I. run of the plan. The goal was to do a warmup run, then complete six 30sec uphill sprints, each one followed by a 2 minute recovery. To get to a decent uphill, I had to run mostly downhill, but that's OK. How it went:

6 x uphill fast, 2:00 walk back down
11:15 run back home 155 avg
Total 44:19 Avg HR146/max HR 168
approx 11:30-12:15, temp 80

Average heart rates don't mean much on a run like this, but I sure could not get t down low on the way back home. That's probably an indication of my fitness level (low).
I was supposed to swim later in the day, but planned things badly, and only got in 600yds (boooo).
I biked about 10 miles commuting, but I'm not counting that...
