Worked around the house today. Recaulked the bathroom tub, so I went over to the gym for a quick run and shower in the evening.
Run - 30 Minutes - 3.09 Miles
5 at 6.2mph, 5 at 7mph, 5 at 6.2, 5 at 7.2, 6 at 6.2, 4min walked warm down at 3.5mph
Left shin splint really kicked in at 26 minute mark, hence, the walking at the end of the run. I'll take some advil tonight and probably avoid running tomorrow.

Jason-
When I have felt shin splint pain in the past, rubbing ice directly onto my shin has helped immensely.
Also, when I would go out for a run, I would commit to a minute or two of running backwards. It seems to address the muscle utilization inbalance that is at the heart of shin splints.
Keep it up!
Matt
